Bridge traffic continued to increase in 2017

The Eagle Pass Bridge System has reported that the total amount of crossings in 2017 surpassed 2016 by a whopping 33,868. 2017 saw 3,467,327 crossings, a significant rise from 2016 which had 3,433,459 total crossings.

Bus traffic on the City of Eagle Pass International Bridge System has shot up by 169 vehicles
or 179.9 percent when compared to September of 2016.
City approves new bridge toll rates
The Eagle Pass City Council approved the third and final reading of an ordinance that will set new rates to be collected at the international bridges in relation to the City Express Card during a special meeting held on Tuesday, September 12.

Bridge I awning project to be completed this week

The City of Eagle Pass Bridge System Board and city administration are in the process of completing the awning project on International Bridge I which began during February.
International Bridge Report
Total traffic for both international bridges has increased slightly from March 2017 as compared to March 2016, however pedestrian numbers continue to decrease.
